Dr. Kristin Rauch is the Director of the Art Education program at the State University of New York at New Paltz. Her photographic work reflects issues and relationships found in nature. Recent photographic projects include a visual documentation of the Rio Grande, Escanaba, and Hudson River environments, and a visual essay of a Hudson Valley migrant student and her family. She is actively involved with interdisciplinary education, presenting numerous papers and workshops on integrating art, science and other subject areas in the outdoors and indoor classrooms. Currently she team-teaches experiential-based short courses and institutes at the Ashokan Field Campus and the Black Rock Forest, environmental education centers in interdisciplinary learning.
